We met by chance.

We adventured together.

We said yes forever.

Zoe and Tyler met through mutual friends in Hamilton and have been together since 2016. Since then, they've been building their future together (along with their two cats, Missy & Jasper).

From camping trips to music festivals, to exploring nine countries across three continents, they've shared a love of fun, food, travel and good times.

On the final evening of their two-week adventure in Vietnam, Tyler asked Zoe to be his wife on a candlelit beach in Da Nang. Now, they're excited to share this new chapter with all of you!

FAQ

Everything you need to know

Where is the wedding venue?

Our wedding venue is a private location, and we're keeping it a little bit of a surprise.

All guests will be transported to and from the venue by bus on the day, so there's no need to worry about directions or driving.

How do we get to the wedding?

We'll be organising buses to and from the wedding so everyone can relax and enjoy the day.

When you RSVP, you'll be able to choose your preferred bus pick-up location. The available options are:

  • Bethlehem – Bethlehem Hall
  • Tauranga CBD – 1 Hamilton Street, Tauranga
  • Mount Maunganui – Salisbury Ave (near Spongedrop Café)
What time will the buses run?

We're still waiting on the final timetable from the venue. In the meantime, please plan to be at your bus pick-up location by 2:00 PM, ready for the 3:00 PM ceremony.

We'll share the full timetable, including return trips at the end of the night, as soon as we have it. See Transport for more.

Getting home

If the bus departure times don't quite work for you, you're welcome to arrange an Uber or taxi back to your accommodation.

Where should we stay?

We recommend booking accommodation close to one of the bus pick-up locations to make getting to and from the wedding easy.

If possible, look for places around:

  • Bethlehem
  • Tauranga CBD
  • Mount Maunganui (central Mount / Salisbury Ave area)

More details will be shared once bus timings are locked in.

What if we're not staying near a bus pick-up location?

No worries at all – if you're staying further away, we suggest catching public transport, an Uber, or a taxi to your chosen bus stop before pick-up.

Can we drive to the venue?

Parking at the venue is not possible, so we kindly ask guests not to drive.

Using the buses helps keep everything running smoothly and means everyone gets home safely.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to venue size and logistics, we're only able to accommodate the guests named on the invitation.

Are children invited?

Please refer to your invitation for details on whether children are included.

What should we wear?

The dress code is Summer Formal.

Think polished and elegant, but light and comfortable for the season – suits in lighter tones, summer dresses, and dressy footwear you'll be happy in all day and night. The celebration includes time outdoors, so we recommend choosing shoes that work well on grass and garden paths.

What happens if the weather isn't great?

The venue has a wet-weather plan in place, so the day will go ahead rain or shine.

We've got it covered – just bring yourselves and enjoy.

Will there be food and drinks?

Yes – food and drinks will be provided throughout the celebration, including the reception.

What about gifts?

Your presence is more than enough.

However, if you'd like to share a gift, we'll have a wishing well on the day.

Who should we contact if we have questions?

If you have any questions before the day, feel free to reach out to us directly :) we're always happy to help.

Your presence would mean the world to us on our big day.

Kindly RSVP by SEPTEMBER 28th, 2026.
